Double-Randomisation for Prize Determination

A gaming machine comprising:

• memory storing program code;
• and
• a processor configured to access the memory and execute the program code;
• wherein, when executing the program code, the processor is caused to perform a method, the method comprising:
• generating a pre-determined number of virtual pots;
• generating a pre-determined number of virtual objects, each virtual object being assigned to one of the virtual pots and comprising a pre-determined number of unique faces;
• randomly selecting a pre-determined number of virtual objects from the virtual pots;
• for each randomly selected virtual object, randomly selecting a face of the virtual object;
• presenting the randomly selected objects on a display, each of the randomly selected objects being oriented to show its randomly selected face;
• for each randomly selected object, determining whether its randomly selected face comprises a predetermined discard symbol;
• and
• for each randomly selected face comprising a predetermined discard symbol, discarding the object and randomly selecting a new virtual object.
