People flow estimation device, display control device, people flow estimation method, and recording medium

A people-flow estimation method comprising:

• clustering partial areas of an image based on a distance between the partial areas, and similarity between a direction and motion of crowd in the partial areas;
• calculating a crowd state and at least one of the direction and the motion of the crowd, based on information about people-flow in the clustered partial areas, the crowd state indicating the clustered partial areas;
• and
• controlling a screen to display the crowd state in a mode different for each crowd.

A non-transitory recording medium storing computer program, the computer program causing a computer to perform:

• clustering partial areas of an image based on a distance between the partial areas, and similarity between a direction and motion of crowd in the partial areas;
• calculating a crowd state and at least one of the direction and the motion of the crowd, based on information about people-flow in the clustered partial areas, the crowd state indicating the clustered partial areas;
• and
• controlling a screen to display the crowd state in a mode different for each crowd.
