Abstract
According to an example implementation, a method includes receiving an indication of a selected mode, and causing, at the same time, both a change in a virtual environment and a change in a physical environment in response to the selected mode.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- generating, by a virtual reality application, a virtual environment;
- determining that a button has been actuated;
- causing a virtual change in the virtual environment and a physical change in a physical environment in response to the determining that the button has been actuated, the virtual change being a virtual representation of the physical change.
A system, comprising:
- a computing device configured to generate an immersive virtual environment, the computing device including:
- a memory storing executable instructions;
- and
- a processor configured to execute the instructions to cause the computing device to:
- determine that a button has been actuated;
- and
- cause a virtual change in the virtual environment and a physical change in a physical environment in response to the determining that the button has been actuated, the virtual change being a virtual representation of the physical change.

A method, comprising:
- receiving an indication of a selected mode;
- providing, in both a virtual environment and a physical environment, a change of an environmental condition based on the selected mode,
- wherein a characteristic of the environmental condition of the virtual environment is the same as a characteristic of the environmental condition of the physical environment.
A method, comprising:
- receiving an indication of a selected mode in response to a physical button or switch that may be physically selected or actuated;
- providing a first environmental condition in a virtual environment;
- providing a second environmental condition in a physical environment;
- and
- causing a change in both the first environmental condition of the virtual environment and the second environmental condition of the physical environment such that the first environmental condition of the virtual environment corresponds to the second environmental condition of the physical environment.
