Abstract
The present invention includes novel RAD51 inhibitors. The compounds of the invention may be useful in preventing or treating cancer in a subject in need thereof. The present invention also includes methods of preventing or treating cancer in a subject in need thereof by administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of the invention.
Claims47
A compound selected from the group consisting of formula (I), formula (II), and formula (III), a salt or solvate, and any combinations thereof:
- wherein:
- R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8, R9, R11, R12, R13, R14, R15, R16, R17, R18, R19, R21, R22, R23, R24, R25, R26, R27, R28, and R29 are each independently selected from the group consisting of H, C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 fluoroalkyl, C1-C6 heteroalkyl, F, Cl, Br, I, CN, NO2, OR30, SR30, S(═O)R30, S(═O)2R30, NHS(═O)2R30, C(═O)R30, OC(═O)R30, CO2R30, OCO2R30, CH(R30)2, N(R30)2, C(═O)N(R30)2, OC(═O)N(R30)2, NHC(═O)NH(R30), NHC(═O)R30, NHC(═O)OR30, C(OH)(R30)2, and C(NH2)(R30)2;
- each occurrence of R3° is independently selected from the group consisting of H and C1-C6 alkyl;
- Het is a 5- to 14-membered substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl ring;
