Abstract
A hitch assembly, including a first frame for being attached to a tow vehicle and a second frame for being attached to a trailer. The second frame is movably engaged with the first frame and is adapted for fore and aft movement relative to the first frame along a plurality of ball bearings.

A hitch assembly for coupling a trailer to a tow vehicle, said hitch assembly comprising:
- a first frame for being attached to the tow vehicle;
- a second frame for being attached to said trailer and being movably engaged with said first frame, said second frame being adapted for fore and aft movement relative to said first frame along a plurality of ball bearings.
