Abstract
A submergence detection device includes: a housing in which an opening is formed; and a detection electrode disposed inside the housing and configured to detect a submergence. A through hole is formed in the housing. When seen from the opening, a wall surface that is located in the housing farther than a position of the through hole is watertight. When seen from the opening, the detection electrode is disposed closer to the opening than the through hole.

A submergence detection device comprising:
- a housing in which an opening is formed;
- and
- a detection electrode disposed inside the housing and configured to detect a submergence,
- wherein a through hole is formed in the housing,
- wherein when seen from the opening, a wall surface that is located in the housing farther than a position of the through hole is watertight, and
- wherein when seen from the opening, the detection electrode is disposed closer to the opening than the through hole.
