Abstract
Cancer is treated via a coordinated treatment regimen that use various compounds and compositions that employ a combination vaccination together with immune modulatory treatment and biasing of an immune response towards a Th1 profile.
Claims20
A method of stimulating an immune response against a tumor in an individual, comprising:
- administering a vaccination regime, an immune stimulation regimen, and a checkpoint inhibition regimen to the individual;
- wherein the immune stimulation regimen commences after the vaccination regime,
- wherein the checkpoint inhibition regimen commences concurrent with or after the immune stimulation regimen, and
- wherein the vaccination regime comprises administration of a vaccine composition comprising an expression vector encoding more than one tumor peptide.

A method of treating a tumor in an individual, comprising:
- subjecting the individual to a vaccination regimen with at least two vaccine compositions to elicit an immune response towards more than one tumor peptide, wherein the vaccination regimen comprises at least a viral vaccine and a yeast vaccine each of which is administered on the same day;
- subjecting the individual to an immune stimulation regimen after the administration of the vaccine composition, wherein the immune stimulation regimen comprises at least a first and a second administration of an immune stimulatory composition;
- and
- subjecting the individual to a checkpoint inhibition regimen after or concurrent with the first administration of the immune stimulatory composition.
