Abstract
Compositions for the extended release of one or more cannabinoids, in which the compositions comprise a population of particles. Each particle may comprise the one or more cannabinoids, one or more drug-releasing agents, one or more surfactants, and a core. The core may comprise a porous bead. The one or more cannabinoids may comprise Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol, cannabidiol, or a combination thereof.

A composition for extended release of one or more cannabinoids, the composition comprising a population of particles, wherein each particle comprises:
- (a) the one or more cannabinoids;
- (b) one or more drug-releasing agents;
- (c) a core;
- and
- (d) one or more surfactants;
- wherein the composition releases the one or more cannabinoids over a period of at least 6 hours.

A composition for extended release of one or more cannabinoids, the composition comprising a population of particles, wherein each particle comprises:
- (a) about 1% to about 20% w/w of the one or more cannabinoids;
- (b) about 5% to about 15% w/w of one or more solubilizers;
- (c) about 15% to about 35% w/w of one or more drug-releasing agents;
- (d) about 20% to about 45% w/w of a core;
- and
- (e) about 15% to about 35% w/w of at least one surfactant,
- wherein the composition releases the one or more cannabinoids over a period of at least 6 hours.
