A drug delivery system comprising:
- (a) a capsule comprising a drug and at least one internal magnet;
- (b) at least one external magnet configured to be held externally against the skin at the vicinity of the GI wall in the duodenum area;
- wherein the at least one external magnet is configured to control drug flow from the capsule as a function of changes in the external magnetic field induced by the at least one external magnet, and
- wherein the at least one internal magnet is configured to flip over the capsule, in response to change in direction of the external magnetic field.
