Abstract
Disclosed is a load cell having a frame that includes a first and a second mounting surface. Each mounting surface is arranged on a common horizontal plane symmetrically about a central vertical axis. First and second lateral surfaces are arranged perpendicular to the first and second mounting surfaces. One or more mounting fixtures are located on the load cell at the first and second mounting surfaces and configured to attach to a support structure or a loading fixture. One or more force sensors are arranged symmetrically about the central vertical axis. One or more cavities extend the width of the frame and are arranged between a mounting fixture and the force sensors.
Claims20
A load cell assembly comprising
- a frame comprising a first and a second mounting surface, each mounting surface arranged on a common horizontal plane symmetrically about a central vertical axis;
- one or more mounting fixtures located on the load cell at the first and second mounting surfaces;
- one or more force sensors arranged symmetrically about the central vertical axis;
- and
- one or more cavities arranged between one or more of the one or more mounting fixtures and the one or more force sensors.
A load cell assembly comprising:
- a frame comprising;
- a first and a second mounting surface, each mounting surface arranged on a common horizontal plane symmetrically about a central vertical axis;
- and
- a first and a second lateral surface, each lateral surface arranged as perpendicular to the first and second mounting surfaces;
- one or more mounting fixtures located on the load cell at the first and second mounting surfaces, the one or more mounting fixtures configured to attach to one or more of a support structure and a loading fixture;
- one or more force sensors arranged symmetrically about the central vertical axis;
- and
- one or more cavities extending the width of the frame and arranged between one or more of the one or more mounting fixtures and the one or more force sensors.
