Antifibrinolytic compounds

A compound of formula III:

• R1—CH2—X1—R5 (III)
• wherein:
• R1 is —NH2, —NHR6, NR6R7 —N+R6R7R8 or —S+R9R10;
• R5 is —C(O)R12, —SO2R13, —P(O)R14R15, nitro or nitroso;
• R6, R7, R8, R9 and R10 are independently (C1-C4)alkyl or halo(C1-C4)alkyl, or R6 and R7, together with the N atom to which they are attached form an aziridinyl, azetidinyl, pyrrolidinyl, piperidinyl, or pyrrolyl group;
• R12, R13, R14 and R15 are independently hydroxyl, —O—(C1-C4)alkyl or —(C1-C4)alkyl;
• and
• X1 is trans cyclohexan-1,4-diyl;
• with the proviso that R1 in not NH2 when R2 is COOH, or
• a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
