Metal clad laminate and production method thereof

A method for producing a metal clad laminate comprising a thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer film and a metal sheet bonded to a surface of the thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer film via a roll-to-roll processing, the method at least comprising:

• providing a thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer film and a metal sheet;
• and
• introducing the thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer film and the metal sheet between a pair of heating rolls so as to laminate the thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer film and the metal sheet between the pair of heating roll,
• wherein the pair of heating rolls at least comprises a metal elastic roll on a side that comes into contact with the thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer film, and the metal elastic roll surface has a ten-point average roughness Rz of 0.2 μm or lower.
