Abstract
A method of wireless communication is provided. The method includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE), a minimum required received level factor in a System Information Block 1 (SIB1) from a base station (BS), determining, by the UE, whether a first Supplementary Uplink (SUL) related factor is present in the SIB1, obtaining, by the UE, a first minimum required received level based on the minimum required received level factor, when the first SUL related factor is not present in the SIB1, determining, by the UE, a first cell selection criterion based on the first minimum required received level, and performing, by the UE, cell selection based on the first cell selection criterion.
Claims32
A wireless communication device comprising:
- a plurality of antenna panels;
- a processor coupled to the plurality of antenna panels and configured to:
- maintain a plurality of leading time values, wherein the plurality of leading time values indicates a plurality of leading time durations;
- receive an indicator for antenna panel status information from a base station (BS);
- and
- apply one of the plurality of leading time values to switch an antenna panel status of the plurality of antenna panels based on the indicator for antenna panel status information.
A method for operating a plurality of antenna panels, the method comprising:
- maintaining, by a wireless communication device, a plurality of leading time values, wherein the plurality of leading time values indicates a plurality of leading time durations;
- receiving, by the wireless communication device, an indicator for antenna panel status information from a base station (BS);
- and
- applying, by the wireless communication device, one of the plurality of leading time values to switch an antenna panel status of the plurality of antenna panels based on the indicator for antenna panel status information.
