Automatically controlling a multiplicity of televisions over a network by the outputs of a subset of interfaces

A method of altering AV (audio and/or video) output, comprising:

• providing a plurality of mob device controllers each at a unique geographical location, wherein each device controller is connectable to a network and is configured to integrate with an associated hardware device adapted to output an AV content item comprising a broadcast or a program;
• producing a chronologically related response data from a member user interface comprising chronology related to the AV output, and machine-readable user inputs;
• transmitting the response data to a remote computing system that is in communication with the plurality of device controllers;
• computationally determining whether the chronologically related response data from a subset of the plurality of device controllers comprises an AV event;
• offering an AV detected event indicator to substantially all of the plurality of mob device controllers;
• altering the AV output of an individual device controller in accordance with the AV detected event indicator.

A system comprising:

• (a) a device controller connectable to a network configured to integrate with a hardware device adapted to output an AV (audio and/or video) content item, the system further comprising:
• a processor configured to intersperse a private AV content item with a public AV content item;
• (b) persistent machine-readable storage configured to store a private AV content collection comprising the private AV content item, and further configured to be accessible by the device controller;
• (c) a second processor configured to transfer a payment from a source to a recipient.

A method of altering AV (audio and/or video) output, comprising:

• providing a device controller connectable to a network and configured to associate with a hardware device adapted to output an AV content item;
• providing a private AV content collection to the device controller comprising a private AV content item;
• identifying a financial recipient related to a public AV content item;
• presenting the public AV content item interspersed with the private AV content item, wherein presenting the private AV content item causes a payment to be transferred to the financial recipient.

A system comprising:

• (a) a remote computing system with a network interface, the computing system comprising:
• a first processor configured to ingest a record related to a member;
• a machine-readable location for temporarily storing the record relating to the member;
• processing apparatus configured to generate a first index of the record relating to the member and a cryptographically hashed checksum or fingerprint of the record relating to the member;
• a second processor for generating a first history of indices and checksums from the record relating to the member;
• a persistent machine-readable location for storing the first history;
• a third processor configured to transmit the record relating to the member and the first index to a computational device under the control of the member;
• (b) a member computational device under the control of a member, comprising:
• a network interface in communication with the remote computing system;
• a fourth processor configured to receive data, the data comprising the record relating to the member;
• a persistent machine-readable location for storing a member history comprising the record relating to the member;
• a fifth processor configured to compute a credit rating comprising an input from the member history;
• (c) a sixth processor configured to:
• retrieve a member record from the member computational device;
• generate a new checksum from the member record;
• retrieve a cryptographically hashed checksum from the remote computing system;
• compare the new checksum with the cryptographically hashed checksum from the remote computer.

A method of privately determining a validated credit rating comprising:

• ingesting a record related (the source record) to a member on a remote computing system and temporarily storing the source record in a machine-readable location;
• generating an index of the source record and a cryptographically hashed checksum or fingerprint of the source record;
• adding the index and the checksum to a history, the history comprising indices and checksums related to the member in a persistent machine-readable location;
• transmitting the source record and the index of the source record to a computational device under the control of the member;
• adding the source record and the index of the source record to a private history of member records with the indices in a persistent machine-readable location;
• removing the source record from the remote computing system;
• computing a credit rating on the computational device under the control of the member using a computational process based on the private history of records wherein the credit rating is related to a behavior of the member;
• generating a new checksum for a stored record from the private history;
• retrieving the cryptographically hashed checksum for the stored record from the history of the member on the remote computing system;
• validating the stored record from the private history by comparing the new checksum with the cryptographically hashed checksum retrieved from the remote computer.
