Framing enhanced reality overlays using invisible light emitters

A computer system for generating an augmented reality environment, the system comprising:

• one or more computer processors;
• one or more computer readable storage devices;
• program instructions stored on the one or more computer readable storage devices for execution by at least one of the one or more computer processors, the stored program instructions comprising:
• program instructions to locate one or more light emitters proximate to a location of a physical display area;
• program instructions to transmit information of a target content to an augmented reality device using light generated by the one or more light emitters, wherein the information includes a light-based data stream of the target content and the target content is not pre-loaded;
• and
• responsive to a reception of the information of the target content by the augmented reality device, program instructions to determine a portion of the target content for displaying on the physical display area.

A computer program product for generating an augmented reality environment, the computer product comprising:

• one or more computer readable storage devices and program instructions stored on the one or more computer readable storage devices, the stored program instructions comprising:
• program instructions to locate one or more light emitters proximate to a location of a physical display area;
• program instructions to transmit information of a target content to an augmented reality device using light generated by the one or more light emitters, wherein the information includes a light-based data stream of the target content and the target content is not pre-loaded;
• and
• responsive to a reception of the information of the target content by the augmented reality device, program instructions to determine a portion of the target content for displaying on the physical display area.
