An information processing method of saving log information related to an executed job, the information processing method comprising:

• determining one of at least a first mode and a second mode as a saving mode for the log information, based on setting by a user;
• saving log information including information about a plurality of items related to an executed job, in a case where the first mode is determined as the saving mode;
• and
• saving log information not including information about a predetermined first item and including information about a second item different from the first item, among the plurality of items related to the executed job, in a case where the second mode is determined as the saving mode.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program for causing a processor to execute an information processing method for an information processing apparatus that saves log information related to an executed job, the information processing method comprising:

• determining one of at least a first mode and a second mode as a saving mode for the log information, based on setting by a user;
• saving log information including information about a plurality of items related to an executed job, in a case where the first mode is determined as the saving mode;
• and
• saving log information not including information about a predetermined first item and including information about a second item different from the first item, among the plurality of items related to the executed job, in a case where the second mode is determined as the saving mode.
