Information processing apparatus, information processing system, and information processing method

An information processing system comprising a terminal, a device, and an information processing apparatus connected to a network, wherein

• the information processing apparatus is configured to:
• accept registration of a device available for a user and an available function of the device, from the terminal,
• generate a Web application programming interface according to the registration, and also generate a virtual device that responds to access to the Web application programming interface in cooperation with the device,
• notify a terminal of information including an access method to the Web application programming interface corresponding to an authenticated user, based on a result of user authentication using the terminal, and
• accept access to the Web application programming interface from the terminal and accesses the device via the virtual device.

An information processing method comprising:

• accepting, by a computer, registration of a device available for a user and an available function of the device;
• generating, by the computer, a Web application programming interface according to the registration, and also generating a virtual device that responds to access to the Web application programming interface in cooperation with the device;
• notifying, by the computer, a terminal of information including an access method to the Web application programming interface corresponding to an authenticated user, based on a result of user authentication using the terminal;
• and
• accepting, by the computer, access to the Web application programming interface from the terminal and accessing the device via the virtual device.
