Abstract
A circuit device has a first mode in which the circuit device outputs a clock signal and a second mode in which the circuit device does not output the clock signal. The circuit device includes an oscillation circuit, a non-volatile memory in which characteristic adjustment data of the oscillation circuit is stored, a reset circuit generating a reset signal, and a storage circuit into which the characteristic adjustment data is loaded from the non-volatile memory when the reset signal transitions from active to inactive. When the circuit device shifts from the second mode to the first mode, the reset circuit causes the reset signal to transition from active to inactive.

A circuit device having a first mode in which the circuit device outputs a clock signal and a second mode in which the circuit device does not output the clock signal, the circuit device comprising:
- an oscillation circuit generating the clock signal;
- a non-volatile memory in which characteristic adjustment data of the oscillation circuit is stored;
- a reset circuit generating a reset signal;
- and
- a storage circuit into which the characteristic adjustment data is loaded from the non-volatile memory when the reset signal transitions from active to inactive, wherein
- the reset circuit causes the reset signal to transition from active to inactive when the circuit device shifts from the second mode to the first mode.
