Abstract
An electric motor and a rotor thereof are provided. The rotor includes a shaft, a housing, a rotor core fixed to the shaft and received in the housing, and a plurality of permanent magnets placed between an outer surface of the rotor core and an inner surface of the housing. The housing comprises a metal skeleton and a holding frame integral with and molded to the metal skeleton.

A rotor of an electric motor, comprising:
- a shaft;
- a housing;
- a rotor core fixed to the shaft and received in the housing;
- and
- a plurality of permanent magnets, placed between an outer surface of the rotor core and an inner surface of the housing;
- wherein the housing comprises a metal skeleton and a holding frame integral with and molded to the metal skeleton.
