Abstract
A display apparatus includes a base substrate, a thin film transistor layer on the base substrate, an insulation layer on the thin film transistor layer, a first electrode on the insulation layer and in a light emitting area, a pixel defining layer having an opening that has a size and a shape substantially same as that of the first electrode, and on the insulation layer, a light emitting layer on the first electrode, and a second electrode on the light emitting layer.
Claims20
A display apparatus, comprising:
- a base substrate;
- a thin film transistor layer on the base substrate;
- an insulation layer on the thin film transistor layer;
- a first electrode on the insulation layer and in a light emitting area;
- a pixel defining layer having an opening that has a substantially same size and a substantially same shape as that of the first electrode, and on the insulation layer;
- a light emitting layer on the first electrode;
- and
- a second electrode on the light emitting layer.
A method of manufacturing a display apparatus, the method comprising:
- forming a thin film transistor layer on a base substrate;
- forming an insulation layer on the thin film transistor layer;
- forming a first electrode on the insulation layer;
- forming a photoresist layer on the insulation layer on which the first electrode is formed;
- exposing the photoresist layer;
- and
- forming a pixel defining layer having an opening by developing the exposed photoresist layer, wherein the opening has a same size and shape as the first electrode, and the first electrode is in the opening.
A method of manufacturing a display apparatus, the method comprising:
- forming a thin film transistor layer on a base substrate;
- forming an insulation layer on the thin film transistor layer;
- forming a first electrode on the insulation layer;
- forming a photoresist layer on the insulation layer on which the first electrode is formed;
- exposing the photoresist layer using a light reflection of the first electrode;
- and
- forming a pixel defining layer having an opening by developing the exposed photoresist layer, wherein the opening has a same size and shape as the first electrode, and the first electrode is in the opening.
