Systems and methods for determining a parking region of vehicles

A virtual parking system, comprising:

• a storage device storing a set of instructions;
• and
• a processor in communication with the storage device, wherein when executing the set of instructions, the processor is configured to cause the system to:
• acquire a first geographical location, the first geographical location being associated with a virtual parking region, the virtual parking region including a parking space for one or more vehicles;
• acquire, from a user terminal, a second geographical location via a communication unit of the virtual parking region;
• determine whether a distance between the first geographical location and the second geographical location is less than a threshold distance;
• and
• in response to a result of the determination that the distance is less than the threshold distance, transmit, via the communication unit, information associated with the virtual parking region to the user terminal.

A method for transmitting information associated with a parking region of vehicles to a user terminal, the method being implemented on at least one machine each of which has a storage device and a processor, the method comprising:

• acquiring, by the processor, a first geographical location, the first geographical location being associated with a virtual parking region, the virtual parking region including a parking space for one or more vehicles;
• acquiring, by the processor, a second geographical location from a user terminal via a communication unit of the virtual parking region;
• determining, by the processor, whether a distance between the first geographical location and the second geographical location is less than a threshold distance;
• and
• in response to a result of the determination that the distance is less than the threshold distance, transmitting, by the processor, information associated with the virtual parking region to the user terminal via the communication unit.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium embodying a computer program product, the computer program product comprising instructions configured to cause a computing device to:

• acquire a first geographical location, the first geographical location being associated with a virtual parking region, the virtual parking region including a parking space for one or more vehicles;
• acquire, from a user terminal, a second geographical location via a communication unit of the virtual parking region;
• determine whether a distance between the first geographical location and the second geographical location is less than a threshold distance;
• and
• in response to a result of the determination that the distance is less than the threshold distance, transmit, via the communication unit, information associated with the virtual parking region to the user terminal.
