Method and system for generating a visual effect of object animation

A system for generating a visual effect comprising:

• a first object representing a first phase of object action;
• a second object representing a second phase of the object action;
• a camera operative to electronically capture a first take of a scene with the first object moving within a defined motion and electronically capture a second take of the scene with the second object replacing the first object and moving within the defined motion;
• and
• an electronic processing device, in response to executable instructions, operative to merge the first take and the second take generating the visual effect of animation of the object action.

A method for generating a visual effect of animation, the method comprising:

• generating a plurality of objects, where each of the plurality of objects represent a phase of an object action;
• defining a motion track for object movement within a scene;
• electronically capturing a plurality of takes of the scene, each of the takes including one of the plurality of objects, the one of the plurality of objects within the scene being moved along the motion track;
• using a computer processing device, electronically merging the plurality of takes of the scene to generate the visual effect of animation of the object action.
