Abstract
A method for correcting image data from a differential phase contrast imaging system is provided. Data comprising distorted data due to spatial variation is obtained. The data is corrected by correcting the distorted data.

A method for correcting image data from a differential phase contrast imaging system:
- obtaining data comprising distorted data due to spatial variation;
- and
- correcting the data by correcting the distorted data.
A system configured for correcting image data from a differential phase contrast imaging system with a detection pixel size:
- a data storage device, configured to store image data from a differential phase contrast imaging of an object, wherein the image data comprises distorted data due to spatial variation;
- a display;
- at least one processor electrically connected to the display and the data storage device;
- and
- non-transient computer readable media, comprising:
- computer code for correcting the distorted data to provide corrected image data;
- and
- computer code for displaying the corrected image data on the display.
