Abstract
A network computer system can determine an identifier of a token that is uniquely associated with a vehicle. Additionally, the network computer system can utilize the identifier of the token to retrieve a record from a blockchain. Moreover, the network computer system can make a determination as to whether the vehicle is suitable for use with a network transport service based on the retrieved record.
Claims20
A network computer system comprising:
- one or more processors;
- a set of memory resources to store a set of instructions, the one or more processors executing the set of instructions to:
- determine an identifier of a token that is uniquely associated with a vehicle;
- retrieve a record from a blockchain using the identifier of the token;
- and
- make a determination as to whether the vehicle is suitable for use with a network transport service based on the retrieved record.
A non-transitory computer readable medium that stores instructions, which when executed by one or more processors of a network computer system, cause the network computer system to perform operations that include:
- determining an identifier of a token that is uniquely associated with a vehicle;
- retrieving a record from a blockchain using the identifier of the token;
- and
- making a determination as to whether the vehicle is suitable for use with a network transport service based on the retrieved record.
A method for operating a network transportation service, the method being implemented by one or more processors and comprising:
- determining an identifier of a token that is uniquely associated with a vehicle;
- retrieving a record from a blockchain using the identifier of the token;
- and
- making a determination as to whether the vehicle is suitable for use with a network transport service based on the retrieved record.
