Abstract
In one embodiment, a method includes receiving information from a social network and identifying one or more topics of interest from the received information. The method also includes converting text from the received information to one or more social intents and determining, based on the topics of interest and the social intents, a media recommendation. The method further includes receiving account information from a user account, the account information including one or more entitlements. The method further includes determining that the media recommendation complies with the entitlements and automatically adding the media recommendation to a social watchlist associated with the user account.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- receiving, by one or more interfaces, information from a social network;
- identifying, by one or more processors, one or more topics of interest from the received information;
- converting, by the processors, text from the received information to one or more social intents;
- determining, by the processors and based on the topics of interest and the social intents, a media recommendation;
- receiving, by the interfaces, account information from a user account, wherein the account information comprises one or more entitlements;
- determining, by the processors, that the media recommendation complies with the entitlements;
- and
- automatically adding, by the processors, the media recommendation to a social watchlist associated with the user account.
One or more computer-readable non-transitory storage media embodying software that is executable to:
- receive information from a social network;
- identify one or more topics of interest from the received information;
- convert text from the received information to one or more social intents;
- determine, based on the topics of interest and the social intents, a media recommendation;
- receive account information from a user account, wherein the account information comprises one or more entitlements;
- determine that the media recommendation complies with the entitlements;
- and
- automatically add the media recommendation to a social watchlist associated with the user account.
A system comprising one or more processors and a memory coupled to the processors comprising instructions executable by the processors to:
- receive information from a social network;
- identify one or more topics of interest from the received information;
- convert text from the received information to one or more social intents;
- determine, based on the topics of interest and the social intents, a media recommendation for a social watchlist;
- receive account information from a user account, wherein the account information comprises one or more entitlements;
- determine that the media recommendation complies with the entitlements;
- and
- automatically add the media recommendation to a social watchlist associated with the user account.
