Decentralized cloud-based authentication for vehicles and associated transactions

A method, comprising:

• receiving, by a first computer comprising at least one processor coupled to at least one memory, a mobility service request from a user;
• and
• authenticating, by a second computer comprising at least one processor coupled to at least one memory, biometrics server scanned biometric data for the user;
• generating, by the second computer, a biometrics server authentication token after authenticating the user;
• upon receiving the biometrics server authentication token, by the first computer, performing a transaction for the user using a previously stored payment method for the user;
• generating, by a third computer comprising at least one processor coupled to at least one memory, a transactional server authentication token when the transaction is approved;
• and
• upon receiving both the biometrics server authentication token and the transactional server authentication toke, by the first computer, providing access to the mobility service.

A method, comprising:

• enrolling a user by:
• storing a payment method or financial information for the user;
• generating an authentication identifier for the user;
• and
• storing low-fidelity or publically available biometric data for the user;
• receiving a mobility service request;
• and
• delivering the mobility service by:
• authenticating scanned biometric data;
• generating a biometrics server authentication token after authenticating;
• upon receiving the biometrics server authentication token, performing a transaction for the user using the payment method or financial information so as to obtain the mobility service;
• generating a transactional server authentication token when the transaction is approved;
• and
• upon receiving both the biometrics server authentication token and the transactional server authentication toke, providing access to the mobility service.
