Abstract
An information processing apparatus includes processing circuitry that acquires an electronic file containing first text data, and determines, based on the acquired electronic file, whether to use the first text data or second text data to perform a process. The second text data is generated through character recognition performed on an image contained in the acquired electronic file.

An information processing apparatus comprising:
- processing circuitry configured to
- acquire an electronic file containing first text data, and
- determine, based on the acquired electronic file, whether to use the first text data or second text data to perform a process, the second text data being generated through character recognition performed on an image contained in the acquired electronic file.
An information processing method comprising:
- acquiring an electronic file containing first text data, and
- determining, based on the acquired electronic file, whether to use the first text data or second text data to perform a process, the second text data being generated through character recognition performed on an image contained in the acquired electronic file.
A non-transitory recording medium storing a plurality of instructions which, when executed by one or more processors, cause the processors to perform an information processing method comprising:
- acquiring an electronic file containing first text data, and
- determining, based on the acquired electronic file, whether to use the first text data or second text data to perform a process, the second text data being generated through character recognition performed on an image contained in the acquired electronic file.
