Claims20
In a processing system, a method of authenticating a user, comprising:
- receiving, at an input device of the processing system, an input gesture corresponding to an explicit assertion of user intent with respect to a function to be performed on the processing system;
- and
- simultaneously authorizing and authenticating the user, with respect to the function, from data acquired from the input gesture.
A system for authenticating a user, comprising:
- a memory comprising computer-executable instructions;
- and
- a processor executing the computer-executable instructions, the computer-executable instructions when executed by the processor cause the processor to perform operations comprising:
- receiving, at an input device of the system, an input gesture corresponding to an explicit assertion of user intent with respect to a function to be performed on the system;
- and
- simultaneously authorizing and authenticating the user, with respect to the function, from data acquired from the input gesture.
A computer program product embodied on a non-transitory computer readable medium, the computer program product including instructions that, when executed by a computer causes the computer to perform operations comprising:
- receiving, at an input device of the processing system, an input gesture corresponding to an explicit assertion of user intent with respect to a function to be performed on the processing system;
- and
- simultaneously authorizing and authenticating the user, with respect to the function, from data acquired from the input gesture.
