Abstract
A system and method for generating tagged column-oriented data structures, including: generating a column-oriented data structure that comprises a plurality of columns, wherein each column comprises a plurality of cells that are associated with a single data type, wherein at least one of the plurality of columns is a tag type column; and inserting at least one tag into a first cell of the tag type column, where the first cell further associated with a first row of cells.
Claims15
A method for generating tagged column-oriented data structures, comprising:
- generating a column-oriented data structure that comprises a plurality of columns, wherein each column comprises a plurality of cells that are associated with a single data type, wherein at least one of the plurality of columns is a tag type column;
- and
- inserting at least one tag into a first cell of the at least one tag type column, wherein the first cell is further associated with a first row of cells.
A non-transitory computer readable medium having stored thereon instructions for causing a processing circuitry to perform a process, the process comprising:
- generating a column-oriented data structure that comprises a plurality of columns, wherein each column comprises a plurality of cells that are associated with a single data type, wherein at least one of the plurality of columns is a tag type column;
- and,
- inserting at least one tag into a first cell of the at least one tag type column, wherein the first cell is further associated with a first row of cells.
A system for generating tagged column-oriented data structures, comprising:
- a processing circuitry;
- and
- a memory, the memory containing instructions that, when executed by the processing circuitry, configure the system to:
- generate a column-oriented data structure that comprises a plurality of columns, wherein each column comprises a plurality of cells that are associated with a single data type, wherein at least one of the plurality of columns is a tag type column;
- and,
- insert at least one tag into a first cell of the at least one tag type column, wherein the first cell is further associated with a first row of cells.
