Compose application extension activation

A method of activating an extension, comprising:

• receiving input entered into a compose form of a compose application;
• determining a compose extension to activate from an application programming interface associated with the compose application;
• and
• activating a compose extension in response to the input being entered into the compose form of the compose application, wherein dynamically activating the compose extension includes modifying data contained in the input entered into the compose form of the compose application and displaying content in a form different from the compose form based on the modified data.

A system for activating an extension, comprising:

• a computing device including a processing unit and a memory, the processing unit being operable to:
• provide one or more application programming interfaces associated with a compose application;
• receive input entered into a compose form associated with the compose application;
• determine a compose extension to activate via the one or more application programming interfaces associated with the compose application based on the received input;
• and
• cause a compose extension to activate in response to the received input in the compose form, wherein activating the compose extension includes providing modified data of the input entered into the compose form and causing content based on the modified data to be displayed in a form different from the compose form based on the modified data.

A method of activating an extension, comprising:

• receiving input entered into a compose form of a web application;
• determining a compose extension to activate from an application programming interface associated with the web application;
• and
• activating a compose extension in response to the input being entered into the compose form of the web application, wherein activating the compose extension includes modifying data contained in the input entered into the compose form of the web application and displaying content in a form different from the compose form based on the modified data.
