Abstract
A system described herein may provide a mechanism for decoupling user interfaces from backend input processing systems by receiving user input that was provided to a user interface, identifying a label (e.g., a label that was defined as being associated with an interactive element via which the user input was received) associated with the user input, and identifying one or more actions to perform based on the received label.
Claims20
A device, comprising:
- a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a set of processor-executable instructions;
- and
- one or more processors configured to execute the set of processor-executable instructions, wherein executing the set of processor-executable instructions causes the one or more processors to:
- receive, from a user equipment (“UE”), user input that was received via a particular interactive element of a user interface presented by the UE,
- wherein the user interface includes a set of interactive elements, including the particular interactive element,
- wherein each interactive element, of the set of interactive elements, is associated with a label that is associated with a set of actions,
- wherein receiving the user input further includes receiving the label associated with the particular interactive element via which the user input was received by the UE;
- identify a particular set of actions that is associated with the label associated with the particular interactive element via which the user input was received;
- identify that the particular set of actions indicates that at least a portion of the user input should be forwarded to a particular device, out of a plurality of candidate devices;
- and
- forward the user input to the identified particular device.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium, storing a set of processor-executable instructions, which, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:
- receive, from a user equipment (“UE”), user input that was received via a particular interactive element of a user interface presented by the UE,
- wherein the user interface includes a set of interactive elements, including the particular interactive element,
- wherein each interactive element, of the set of interactive elements, is associated with a label that is associated with a set of actions,
- wherein receiving the user input further includes receiving the label associated with the particular interactive element via which the user input was received by the UE;
- identify a particular set of actions that is associated with the label associated with the particular interactive element via which the user input was received;
- identify that the particular set of actions indicates that at least a portion of the user input should be forwarded to a particular device, out of a plurality of candidate devices;
- and
- forward the user input to the identified particular device.
A method, comprising:
- receiving, from a user equipment (“UE”), user input that was received via a particular interactive element of a user interface presented by the UE,
- wherein the user interface includes a set of interactive elements, including the particular interactive element,
- wherein each interactive element, of the set of interactive elements, is associated with a label that is associated with a set of actions,
- wherein receiving the user input further includes receiving the label associated with the particular interactive element via which the user input was received by the UE;
- identifying a particular set of actions that is associated with the label associated with the particular interactive element via which the user input was received;
- identifying that the particular set of actions indicates that at least a portion of the user input should be forwarded to a particular device, out of a plurality of candidate devices;
- and
- forwarding the user input to the identified particular device.
