Abstract
In a state of a display device, there is an attached state being a state in which the display device is attached to a housing. In the attached state, a protective plate is configured such that a side surface of the protective plate is held by the housing. The side surface of the protective plate is provided with an elastic body.

A display device for being attached to a housing, the display device comprising:
- a display panel having a display surface for displaying an image;
- a frame configured to hold the display panel;
- and
- a protective plate configured to cover a side of the display surface of the display panel,
- wherein in a state of the display device, there is an attached state being a state in which the display device is attached to the housing,
- wherein in the attached state, the protective plate is configured such that a side surface of the protective plate is held by the housing, and
- wherein an elastic body is provided on a side surface of the protective plate.
