Abstract
A dispensing system includes a pour cap for a container and a timing device configured to visually indicate when a dose has been dispensed from the dispensing system, the timing device being securable to either the pour cap or the container and configurable based on a product being dispensed.

A dispensing system, comprising:
- a container;
- a pour cap attached to the container;
- and
- a timing device associated with the container or the pour cap.

A timing device for metering a flowable product dispensed from a dispensing system including a container and a pour cap, said timing device comprising:
- a transparent or translucent outer cylinder;
- a flowable material contained within the cylinder;

- a flow regulator within the outer cylinder.
