Abstract
Methods and apparatus are provided for wireless communication in which a downlink control information (DCI) is transmitted in a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) in a first bandwidth part (BWP). A UE is responsible for determining a starting resource block (RB) for a data transmission allocated by the DCI based on a value of a frequency domain resource allocation field in the DCI, a reference RB, and a reference size of a second BWP. The data transmission can then be transmitted, in the case of, for example, PUSCH, by a UE or received, in the case of, for example, PDSCH.
Claims30
A method for wireless communication, the method comprising:
- receiving, by a user equipment (UE), a downlink control information (DCI) in a second control resource set (CORESET), the DCI comprising a frequency domain resource allocation field for indicating frequency resources allocated to a data transmission;
- and
- receiving, by the UE, the data transmission in a frequency resource based on a value of the frequency domain resource allocation field, a number of resource blocks (RBs) of a first CORESET, and a reference RB defined by a lowest-numbered physical resource block (PRB) in the second CORESET.
A user equipment (UE) comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a computer-readable medium having stored thereon computer-executable instructions, that when executed by the processor, cause the UE to:
- receive a downlink control information (DCI) in a second control resource set (CORESET), the DCI comprising a frequency domain resource allocation field for indicating frequency resources allocated to a data transmission;
- and
- receive the data transmission in a frequency resource based on a value of the frequency domain resource allocation field, a number of resource blocks (RBs) of a first CORESET, and a reference RB defined by a lowest-numbered physical resource block (PRB) in the second CORESET.
A method for wireless communication, the method comprising:
- transmitting, by a base station, a downlink control information (DCI) in a second control resource set (CORESET), the DCI comprising a frequency domain resource allocation field for indicating frequency resources allocated to a data transmission;
- and
- transmitting, by the base station to a user equipment (UE), the data transmission in a frequency resource based on a value of the frequency domain resource allocation field, a number of resource blocks (RBs) of a first CORESET, and a reference RB defined by a lowest-numbered physical resource block (PRB) in the second CORESET.
A device comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a computer-readable medium having stored thereon computer-executable instructions, that when executed by the processor, cause the device to:
- transmit a downlink control information (DCI) in a second control resource set (CORESET), the DCI comprising a frequency domain resource allocation field for indicating frequency resources allocated to a data transmission;
- and
- transmit, to a user equipment (UE), the data transmission in a frequency resource based on a value of the frequency domain resource allocation field, a number of resource blocks (RBs) of a first CORESET, and a reference RB defined by a lowest-numbered physical resource block (PRB) in the second CORESET.
