Abstract
A terminal apparatus for communicating with a base station apparatus includes a transmission unit configured to transmit Phase-tracking reference signals (PTRS), and an higher layer processing unit configured to configure information for indicating a time density and/or a frequency density of the PTRS. A PTRS pattern is configured such that the time density of the PTRS is higher for a larger Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) scheduled for the terminal apparatus, and the frequency density of the PTRS is based on the number of resource blocks scheduled for the terminal apparatus.

A terminal apparatus communicating with a base station apparatus, the terminal apparatus comprising:
- receiving circuitry configured to receive first information configuring transmission of phase tracking reference signal (PTRS), second information configuring time density of PTRS and downlink control information (DCI) including a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) for physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH);
- and
- transmitting circuitry configured to transmit the PUSCH , a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) and the PTRS based on the first information and the second information, wherein
- the time density of PTRS configured by the second information is determined based on the MCS,
- an antenna port used for transmission of the PTRS is the same as at least one of antenna ports used for transmission of the DMRS.
A base station apparatus communicating with one or more terminal apparatuses, the base station apparatus comprising:
- transmitting circuitry configured to transmit first information configuring transmission of phase tracking reference signal (PTRS), second information configuring time density of PTRS and downlink control information (DCI) including a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) for physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH);
- and
- receiving circuitry configured to receive the PUSCH, a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) and the PTRS based on the first information and the second information, wherein
- the time density of PTRS configured by the second information is determined based on the MCS,
- an antenna port used for transmission of the PTRS is the same as at least one of antenna ports used for transmission of the DMRS.
A method for terminal apparatus communicating with a base station apparatus, the method comprising:
- receiving first information configuring transmission of phase tracking reference signal (PTRS), second information configuring time density of PTRS and downlink control information (DCI) including a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) for physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH);
- and
- transmitting the PUSCH, a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) and the PTRS based on the first information and the second information, wherein
- the time density of PTRS configured by the second information is determined based on the MCS,
- an antenna port used for transmission of the PTRS is the same as at least one of antenna ports used for transmission of the DMRS.
A method for base station apparatus communicating with one or more terminal apparatuses, the method comprising:
- transmitting first information configuring transmission of phase tracking reference signal (PTRS), second information configuring time density of PTRS and downlink control information (DCI) including a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) for physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH);
- and
- receiving the PUSCH, a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) and the PTRS based on the first information and the second information, wherein
