Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a video subtitle display method and apparatus. The method includes receiving a request to play a target video sent by a terminal; determining a display mode of a subtitle according to a content type corresponding to the subtitle of the target video; and controlling the terminal to display the subtitle on a video picture according to the display mode when the target video is played. The video subtitle display method and apparatus provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure enable the display mode of the subtitle of the video to be changed according to the content type corresponding to the subtitle, and therefore, satisfying the user's viewing requirements for subtitles of different content types.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- receiving a play request for a target video sent by a terminal;
- determining a display mode of a subtitle of the target video according to a content type corresponding to the subtitle of the target video;
- and
- controlling the terminal to display the subtitle on a video picture of the target video according to the display mode when the target video is played.
An apparatus comprising:
- one or more processors;
- memory;
- a request receiving module stored in the memory and executable by the one or more processors to receive a play request for a target video sent by a terminal;
- a mode determining module stored in the memory and executable by the one or more processors to determine a display mode of a subtitle of the target video according to a content type corresponding to the subtitle of the target video;
- and
- a display control module stored in the memory and executable by the one or more processors to control the terminal to display the subtitle on a video picture of the target video according to the display mode when the target video is played.
One or more computer readable media storing executable instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform acts comprising:
- receiving a play request for a target video sent by a terminal;
- determining a display mode of a subtitle of the target video according to a content type corresponding to the subtitle of the target video;
- and
- controlling the terminal to display the subtitle on a video picture of the target video according to the display mode when the target video is played.
