Abstract
A first transmission signal z1(t) and a second transmission signal z2(t) are generated from a first modulated signal s1(t) and a second modulated signal s2(t) by using a precoding matrix, and parameters of the precoding matrix are calculated from feedback information.

A transmitting method executed by a transmitting apparatus, the transmission method comprising:
- transmitting a frame including training fields, the training fields including a first fields and a second fields, a first training signal having a first polarization being transmitted in the first fields, a second training signal having a second polarization being transmitted in the second fields, the first polarization being different from the second polarization;
- and
- receiving a feedback signal from a receiving apparatus, a feedback signal including first information indicating a channel measurement estimated by using the first training signal and second information indicating a channel measurement estimated by using the second training signal.
A transmitting apparatus comprising:
- a transmitter that, in operation, transmits a frame including training fields, the training fields including a first fields and a second fields, a first training signal having a first polarization being transmitted in the first fields, a second training signal having a second polarization being transmitted in the second fields, the first polarization being different from the second polarization;
- and
- a receiver that, in operation, receives a feedback signal from a receiving apparatus, a feedback signal including first information indicating a channel measurement estimated by using the first training signal and second information indicating a channel measurement estimated by using the second training signal.
