Methods for transmitting uplink signal and downlink signal, ue and base station

A method for transmitting a beam failure recovery request response by a base station, the method comprising:

• receiving a beam failure recovery request to the base station;
• providing a configured search space for the beam failure recovery request response;
• and
• transmitting the beam failure recovery request response on a downlink control channel,
• wherein the downlink control channel is monitored for the beam failure recovery request response based on the configured search space, by using an identifier of the beam failure recovery request.

An apparatus for receiving a beam failure recovery request response, the apparatus comprising:

• a transceiver configured to:
• transmit a beam failure recovery request to a base station, and
• receive the beam failure recovery request response on a downlink control channel;
• and
• a processor configured to:
• identify a search space for the beam failure recovery request response configured by the base station, and
• monitor the downlink control channel based on the identified search space, by using an identifier of the beam failure recovery request.

An apparatus for transmitting a beam failure recovery request response, the apparatus comprising:

• a transceiver;
• and
• a processor configured to control the transceiver to:
• receive a beam failure recovery request to a base station,
• provide a configured search space for the beam failure recovery request response, and
• transmit the beam failure recovery request response on a downlink control channel,
• wherein the downlink control channel is monitored for the beam failure recovery request response based on the configured search space, by using an identifier of the beam failure recovery request.
