Application sales management server system

An application sales management server system that manages sales of applications operated by an edge server communicably connected to one or more edge devices, the system comprising:

• a communication unit;
• a control unit;
• and
• a storage unit, wherein
• the system is communicably connected to user terminals of each user including an intermediary dealer that relays purchase of applications and an end user who uses the edge device and the edge server via the communication unit, and
• the control unit includes:
• a purchaser management unit that manages users who can purchase the application;
• a distribution authorization notification unit that notifies the user terminal of information related to authorization of distribution or distribution authorization information corresponding to the application when an application purchase request received from the user terminal is transmitted from the user who can purchase the application by referring to the purchaser management unit;
• and
• an application distribution unit that distributes the application corresponding to the distribution authorization information to the edge server specified from the distribution authorization information in response to receiving the distribution authorization information from the user terminal of a user different from the user who has transmitted the application purchase request.
