The fitting is integrated into a plate-shaped composite element that is mounted parallel to a wall of the at least one furniture element and is mounted inside the furniture element.

An item of furniture, comprising:
- at least one furniture body;
- a movable furniture part, which is a flap or flap arrangement;
- and
- at least one fitting configured to guide the movable furniture part,
- wherein the at least one fitting is a flap fitting, which the movable furniture part, and is integrated into at least one plate-shaped composite element that is aligned parallel to a wall of the at least one furniture body and is arranged inside the at least one furniture body.
