## Abstract

The disclosure describes systems and methods related to moving object content that is enhanced with textual content presented using rapid serial visual presentation (“RSVP”). In one embodiment, video content is enhanced with RSVP content. Related embodiments provide systems and methods for displaying, creating, and editing such content. A particular embodiment provides for RSVP enhanced video previews. In another embodiment, augmented reality content is enhanced with RSVP content. In some embodiments, RSVP enhanced moving object content is provided on various end user electronic devices including smart phones, smart watches, and head mounted displays. These and other embodiments are disclosed further herein.

## Claims

### Claim at position 1

1-40. (canceled)

### Claim 41

A method of enabling a user electronic device to create text enhancements to video content in response to user interface actions, the method comprising:
enabling the user device to display a video frame at a time location in a video file;
enabling the user electronic device to display a menu including a user selectable option for adding textual content to be associated with the time location in the video file, the textual content to be designated for display using rapid serial visual presentation (“RSVP”);
enabling the user electronic device to, in response to selection of the user selectable option, provide an interface for entering the textual content; and
enabling the user electronic device to receive and store the textual content such that it is associated with the time location in the video file.

### Claim 42 (depends on 41)

The method of claim 41 further comprising enabling the user electronic device to provide an interface for placing a marker within the video frame, the marker indicating the presence of textual content designated to be displayed using RSVP.

### Claim 43 (depends on 41)

The method of claim 41 further comprising enabling the user electronic device to provide an interface for selecting an object within the video frame such that the object is displayed with a marker, the marker indicating the presence of textual content designated to be displayed using RSVP.

### Claim 44 (depends on 43)

The method of claim 43 wherein selection of the object creates a hotspot on the object where the marker is displayed such that in subsequent video frames containing the object, the marker remains displayed on the object hotspot.

### Claim 45 (depends on 41)

The method of claim 41 further comprising enabling the user electronic device to provide an interface for enabling user interface actions selecting one or more respective video excerpts to be associated with one or more respective textual content segments to be included in a video preview associated with the video content, the respective textual content segments designated to be displayed using RSVP.

### Claim at position 7

46-74. (canceled)

### Claim 75

A computer program product embedded in a non-transitory computer readable medium including instructions executable by a computer processor to provide an interface on a user electronic device for creating text enhancements to video content in response to user interface actions, the instructions being executable by a computer processor to:
enable the user electronic device to, while displaying a video frame corresponding a time location within video content, display a menu including a user selectable option for adding textual content to be associated with the time location in the video content, the textual content to be designated for display using rapid serial visual presentation (“RSVP”);
enable the user electronic device to, in response to selection of the user selectable option, provide an interface for entering the textual content; and
enable the user electronic device to receive and store the textual content such that it is associated with the time location in the video content.

### Claim 76 (depends on 75)

The computer program product of claim 75 wherein the instructions are executable by a computer processor such that the user electronic device is enabled to provide an interface for placing a marker within the video frame, the marker indicating the presence of textual content designated to be displayed using RSVP.

### Claim 77 (depends on 75)

The computer program product of claim 75 wherein the instructions are executable by a computer processor such that the user electronic device is enabled to provide an interface for selecting an object within the video frame such that the object is displayed with a marker, the marker indicating the presence of textual content designated to be displayed using RSVP.

### Claim 78 (depends on 77)

The computer program product of claim 77 wherein the instructions are executable by a computer processor such that selection of the object creates a hotspot on the object where the marker is displayed such that in subsequent video frames containing the object, the marker remains displayed on the object hotspot.

### Claim 79 (depends on 75)

The computer program product of claim 75 wherein the instructions are executable by a computer processor such that the user electronic device is enabled to provide an interface for enabling user interface actions selecting one or more respective video excerpts to be associated with one or more respective textual content segments to be included in a video preview associated with the video content, the respective textual content segments designated to be displayed using RSVP.

### Claim at position 13

80-104. (canceled)

### Claim 105 (depends on 41)

The method of claim 41 further comprising:
enabling the user electronic device to display a menu including a user selectable option for adding or editing global textual content associated with the video file, the global textual content to be designated for display using RSVP, the global textual content being displayable upon selection of a representation of the video.

### Claim 106 (depends on 105)

The method of claim 105 wherein the representation of the video represents the video as a video item in a list of video items.

### Claim 107 (depends on 41)

The method of claim 41 further comprising:
enabling the user electronic device to display a menu including a user selectable option for causing a marker to be displayed at a location on a timeline displayed during playback of the video content, the marker indicating the presence of textual content designated to be displayed using RSVP.

### Claim 108 (depends on 75)

The computer program product of claim 75 wherein the instructions are executable by a computer processor such that the user electronic device is enabled to display a menu including a user selectable option for adding or editing global textual content associated with the video file, the global textual content to be designated for display using RSVP, the global textual content being displayable upon selection of a representation of the video.

### Claim 109 (depends on 105)

The method of claim 105 wherein the representation of the video represents the video as a video item in a list of video items.

### Claim 110 (depends on 75)

The computer program product of claim 75 wherein the instructions are executable by a computer processor such that the user electronic device is enabled to display a menu including a user selectable option for causing a marker to be displayed at a location on a timeline displayed during playback of the video content, the marker indicating the presence of textual content designated to be displayed using RSVP.
