## Abstract

A vibration damper for reducing a vibration in a cable is provided. The vibration damper includes an attachment portion that is attached to the cable. The vibration damper includes a flexible leg portion attached to the attachment portion. The vibration damper includes a weighted portion attached to the flexible leg portion. The weighted portion is spaced a distance apart from the attachment portion.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A vibration damper for reducing a vibration of a cable, the vibration damper comprising:
an attachment portion configured to be attached to the cable;
a flexible leg portion attached to the attachment portion; and
a weighted portion attached to the flexible leg portion, the weighted portion spaced a distance apart from the attachment portion.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The vibration damper of claim 1, wherein the weighted portion has a first side and a second side, the flexible leg portion attached to the first side of the weighted portion.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The vibration damper of claim 2, wherein the weighted portion defines a first opening into which the flexible leg portion is received.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The vibration damper of claim 3, wherein the weighted portion defines a second opening that intersects the first opening.

### Claim 5 (depends on 3)

The vibration damper of claim 3, comprising a fastener configured to be received within the second opening, the fastener configured to removably attach the weighted portion to the flexible leg portion.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The vibration damper of claim 1, comprising an attachment structure attached to the attachment portion, the attachment structure configured to be attached to the cable.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The vibration damper of claim 6, wherein the attachment portion defines an opening into which the flexible leg portion is received, the opening extending between a first attachment side and a second attachment side of the attachment portion.

### Claim 8

A vibration damper for reducing a vibration of a cable, the vibration damper comprising:
an attachment portion configured to be attached to the cable;
a flexible leg portion attached to the attachment portion;
a weighted portion attached to the flexible leg portion, the weighted portion spaced a distance apart from the attachment portion;
a second flexible leg portion attached to the weighted portion, the second flexible leg portion spaced a second distance apart from the flexible leg portion; and
a second weighted portion attached to the second flexible leg portion, the second weighted portion spaced a third distance apart from the weighted portion.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

The vibration damper of claim 8, wherein the second distance is less than the distance.

### Claim 10 (depends on 8)

The vibration damper of claim 8, wherein the third distance is less than the distance.

### Claim 11 (depends on 8)

The vibration damper of claim 8, the weighted portion having a first side and a second side, the attachment portion located on the first side.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The vibration damper of claim 11, the second weighted portion disposed on the first side of the weighted portion.

### Claim 13 (depends on 11)

The vibration damper of claim 11, the second weighted portion disposed on the second side of the weighted portion.

### Claim 14 (depends on 8)

The vibration damper of claim 8, comprising a third weighted portion attached to the second flexible leg portion, the third weighted portion disposed between the weighted portion and the second weighted portion.

### Claim 15

A vibration damper for reducing a vibration of a cable, the vibration damper comprising:
an attachment portion configured to be attached to the cable;
a flexible leg portion attached to a first attachment side of the attachment portion;
a fourth flexible leg portion attached to a second attachment side of the attachment portion;
a weighted portion attached to the flexible leg portion, the weighted portion spaced a distance apart from the attachment portion; and
a fourth weighted portion attached to the fourth flexible leg portion, the fourth weighted portion spaced a separating distance apart from the attachment portion.

### Claim 16 (depends on 15)

The vibration damper of claim 15, wherein the distance is substantially equal to the separating distance.

### Claim 17 (depends on 15)

The vibration damper of claim 15, wherein the flexible leg portion and the fourth flexible leg portion extend along a leg axis.

### Claim 18 (depends on 15)

The vibration damper of claim 15, wherein the attachment portion defines an opening into which the flexible leg portion and the fourth flexible leg portion are received, the opening extending between the first attachment side and the second attachment side of the attachment portion.

### Claim 19 (depends on 15)

The vibration damper of claim 15, wherein the weighted portion is movable relative to the flexible leg portion.

### Claim 20 (depends on 15)

The vibration damper of claim 15, wherein the fourth weighted portion is movable relative to the fourth flexible leg portion.
