A novel primer composition contains aldimine and/or epoxy resins, a process of making such primer to be used in glass bonding adhesive kit.

A primer composition comprising, based on the total weight of the composition, an organic solvent;
- an aldimine;
- an alkoxysilane;
- a non-reactive film forming resin;
- a polyisocyanate prepolymer;
- a reactive modifier;
- a catalyst;
- and an isocyanate stabilizer.
