## Abstract

Systems and methods for network device management are described. An indication of a failed network connection between a first user device and a second network device can be received. Using data from the first network device, the first user device, at least one second network device, and/or at least one second user device, one or more characteristics of the first network device and/or the at least one second network device can be determined. Modification of the determined one or more characteristics can be caused.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method comprising:
receiving, from a user device via a first network connection, an indication of a failed network connection with a first network device;
determining, based on the indication of the failed network connection, at least one first characteristic of the first network device; and
causing a modification to the at least one first characteristic of the first network device to facilitate a second network connection between the user device and the first network device.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, further comprising receiving, from the user device, the at least one first characteristic of the first network device.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein causing the modification to the at least one first characteristic of the first network device comprises transmitting, to the first network device, instructions to modify the at least one first characteristic.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the at least one first characteristic comprises a wireless frequency or a transmission power.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, further comprising:
receiving, from the first network device, an indication of interference associated with at least one second network device; and
wherein determining the at least one first characteristic of the first network device comprises determining, based on the indication of interference, the at least one first characteristic of the first network device.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, further comprising receiving at least one second characteristic of at least one second network device.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein determining the at least one first characteristic of the first network device comprises determining, based on the at least one second characteristic of the at least one second network device, the at least one first characteristic of the first network device

### Claim 8 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, further comprising causing a modification to the at least one second characteristic of the at least one second network device.

### Claim 9 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein receiving the at least one second characteristic of the at least one second network device comprises receiving, from the user device, the at least one second characteristic of the at least one second network device.

### Claim 10 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein receiving the at least one second characteristic of the at least one second network device comprises receiving, from the first network device, the at least one second characteristic of the at least one second network device.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the first network connection comprises a cellular network and the second network connection comprises a wireless local area network (WLAN) connection.

### Claim 12

A method comprising:
transmitting, to a first network device, a request to establish a first network connection with the first network device;
receiving, from the first network device, an indication of a connection error;
transmitting, to a computing device via a second network connection, the indication of the connection error with the first network device, wherein the computing device is configured to modify one or more characteristics of the first network device;
determining that the one or more characteristics of the first network device have been modified; and
establishing a second network connection with the first network device.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The method of claim 12, further comprising:
determining one or more characteristics of the first network device; and
transmitting, to the computing device, the one or more characteristics of the first network device.

### Claim 14 (depends on 13)

The method of claim 13, wherein determining the one or more characteristics of the first network device comprises determining, based on a beacon received from the first network device, the one or more characteristics of the first network device.

### Claim 15 (depends on 12)

The method of claim 12, further comprising:
determining one or more characteristics of a second network device; and
transmitting, to the computing device, the one or more characteristics of the second network device.

### Claim 16 (depends on 12)

The method of claim 12, determining that the one or more characteristics of the first network device have been modified comprises receiving an indication from the computing device that the one or more characteristics of the first network device have been modified.

### Claim 17 (depends on 12)

The method of claim 12, determining that the one or more characteristics of the first network device have been modified comprises determining, based on a beacon from the second network device indicating the one or more characteristics, that the one or more characteristics of the first network device have been modified.

### Claim 18

A method comprising:
receiving, from a user device via a first network connection, an indication of a failed network connection with a first network device;
determining a modification restriction to at least one first characteristic of the first network device;
determining, based on the indication of the failed network connection, at least one second characteristic of at least one second network device; and
causing a modification to the at least one second characteristic of the at least one second network device to facilitate a second network connection between the user device and the first network device.

### Claim 19 (depends on 18)

The method of claim 18, further comprising determining, based on one or more transmissions received by the at least one second network device from the first network device, the at least one second network device.

### Claim 20 (depends on 18)

The method of claim 18, wherein the one or more transmissions comprise one or more beacons from the first network device.
