## Abstract

Multi-layer modular capacitors adapted to be electrically coupled to each other and formed into a structural piece that is electrically coupled to an electrical device requiring a power supply.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An electrical capacitor assembly, comprising:
a. a first non-rolled conductive layer having at least one conductive connector associated therewith;
b. a second non-rolled conductive layer having at least one conductive connector associated therewith; and
c. at least a first dielectric layer adjacent to and intermediate the first and second non-rolled conductive layers; the first dielectric layer having at least one dielectric connector associated therewith.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The electrical capacitor assembly of claim 1, wherein each electrical capacitor assembly further comprises a plurality of alternating dielectric layers and non-rolled conductive layers, each conductive layer having at least one conductive connector associated therewith.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The electrical capacitor assembly of claim 2, wherein each conductive connector is configured to couple the electrical capacitor assembly to a power supply, electric circuit, diagnostic circuitry, or at least second electrical capacitor assembly.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The electrical capacitor assembly of claim 3 wherein the conductive connector is configured is configured to couple the electrical capacitor assembly in series or in parallel to the power supply, electric circuit, or the at least second electrical capacitor assembly.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The electrical capacitor assembly of claim 1 wherein the first and second non-rolled conductive layer comprises a coherent metallic material that is substantially devoid of microscopic pores.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The electrical capacitor assembly of claim 5 wherein the first and second non-rolled conductive layer comprise at least one of the following materials: titanium, molybdenum, aluminum, tantalum, manganese, or niobium.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The electrical capacitor assembly of claim 1 wherein the at least first dielectric layer comprises at least one of the following materials: diamond-like carbon, graphene, ceramic or electrically insulating polymers.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The electrical capacitor assembly of claim 1 wherein the first non-rolled conductive layer, the at least first dielectric layer and the second non-rolled conductive layer are concentric cylindrical layers.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The electrical capacitor assembly of claim 1 wherein the first non-rolled conductive layer, the at least first dielectric layer and the second non-rolled conductive layer are curved or non-planar structural shapes.

### Claim 10

An electrical capacitor assembly, comprising:
a. A first plurality of interlaced conductive and dielectric layers configured to form a first modular element;
b. A second plurality of interlaced conductive and dielectric layers configured to form a second modular element; and
c. Wherein the first modular element and the second modular element are electrically and structurally connected to each other and form a structural member of a larger structural element.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The electrical capacitor assembly of claim 10 wherein the modular element, the second modular are non-rolled and curved or non-planar structural shapes.

### Claim 12 (depends on 10)

The electrical capacitor assembly of claim 10 wherein the first module and the second module are coupled to each other and to a power supply, electric circuit, diagnostic circuitry, or at least second electrical capacitor assembly.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The electrical capacitor assembly of claim 12 wherein the first module and the second module are coupled to each other in series or in parallel.

### Claim 14 (depends on 10)

The electrical capacitor assembly of claim 10 wherein the each interlaced conductive layer of the first plurality of interlaced layers and each interlaced conductive layer of the second plurality of interlaced layers further comprise conductive connectors configured to couple each module to each other or to a power supply, electric circuit, or diagnostic circuitry.
