Abstract
The invention provides a composition comprising 1,1-difluoroethene (R-1132a); a second component selected from the group consisting of hexafluoroethane (R-116), ethane (R-170) and mixtures thereof; and, optionally carbon dioxide (CO2, R-744).

An azeotropic or near-azeotropic composition comprising 1,1-difluoroethene (R-1132a) and ethane (R-170).
A composition according to claims, wherein the composition comprises from about 44 to about 56% by weight of R-1132a and from about 44 to about 56% by weight of R-170.
