Metal Lashing Plates

A single or plurality of through holes or cutouts made in a thin hard part of a device or structure for the purpose of connecting to a member or members with a lower hardness rating;

• a) where said through hole or cutout is formed with a plurality of sharp edges around the inside of the rim, where the base's of the said sharp edges join with the rest of said thin connector's body, and said sharp edges occupy any part of the space directly within, above and below the said through hole's or cutout's area as defined by the outside edge of said rim;
• b) said sharp edges upset and engage the outer layer or layers of an inserted said member or members, fastening said member or members in place when a force is applied to said member or members relative to said device or structure.

Sharp edges or teeth attached around the rim of a through hole or cutout that occupy any part of the space directly within, above and below said through hole or cutout in a plate, device or structure;

• a) for the purpose of connecting to a member or members with a lower hardness rating than that of the said sharp edges or teeth;
• b) where the said sharp edges or teeth upset and engage the outer layer or layers of an inserted member or members, fastening said member or members in place when a force is applied to said member or members relative to said plate, device or structure.
