Abstract
An organosilicon compound can be efficiently produced by using metallic element-containing nanoparticles such as a platinum element-containing nanoparticle having a solvent on surface as a catalyst of the hydrosilylation reaction of alkenes.

A method of producing an organosilicon compound, comprising a reaction step of reacting an alkene with a hydrosilane in the presence of a platinum element-containing nanoparticle having a solvent on surface to produce an organosilicon compound.
