A driving assistance device for a vehicle includes a storage unit configured to store a position of a first point on a road map where a traveling environment of a road changes, and a controller configured to output an alarm for alerting a driver of a vehicle after the vehicle has passed through the first point.

A driving assistance device for a vehicle, the driving assistance device comprising:
- a storage unit configured to store a position of a first point on a road map where a change in traveling environment of a road exists;
- and
- a controller configured to output an alarm for alerting a driver of the vehicle after the vehicle has passed through the first point.
