Claims21
-12. (canceled)
A method for treating a disease in a subject in need thereof comprising:
- (i) administering to the subject an effective amount of a chemotherapy, wherein the chemotherapy induces lymphodepletion in the subject;
- and
- (ii) administering to the subject an effective amount of autologous T cells.
The method of claim 1, wherein the autologous T cells are antigen-specific.
The method of claim 1, wherein the autologous T cells are activated and expanded.
The method of claim 1, wherein the disease is a cancer.
The method of claim 1, wherein the disease is progressive multifocal leukoencephalitis.
The method of claim 1, wherein the chemotherapy is administered following apheresis.
The method of claim 1, wherein the chemotherapy is administered intravenously.
The method of claim 1, wherein the chemotherapy is administered daily for three days.
The method of claim 1, wherein the chemotherapy comprises cyclophosphamide and/or fludarabine.
The method of claim 1, wherein the chemotherapy comprises cyclophosphamide at about 250 mg/m2/day.
The method of claim 1, wherein the chemotherapy comprises fludarabine at about 25 mg/m2/day.
The method of claim 1, wherein the autologous T cells are administered after administering the chemotherapy.
A method for improving T cell numbers in a subject comprising:
- (i) administering to the subject an effective amount of a chemotherapy, wherein the chemotherapy induces lymphodepletion in the subject;
- and
- (ii) administering to the subject an effective amount of autologous T cells.
A method for treating chronic lymphocytic leukemia or follicular lymphoma in a subject in need thereof comprising:
- (i) administering to the subject an effective amount of a chemotherapy comprising cyclophosphamide and fludarabine, wherein the chemotherapy induces lymphodepletion in the subject;
- and
- (ii) administering to the subject an effective amount of autologous T cells.
